Have a Seder, Need a Seder

Passover is fast approaching and is a time when family and friends come together to celebrate and honor the great trek that our ancestors took across the desert thousands of the years ago.

One of the main components of the Passover Seder is when we offer a glass of wine to the Prophet Elijah. This is symbolic of welcoming a stranger into our home and letting them be a part of our family even for a just a little bit of time.

While many of us host our own Seder or attend a Seder with family and friends, there are those that are not able to hold their own or have one to attend. At this time of showing compassion to others, we ask for those that are able to open their home to others in need. Thus, we are starting our Have a Seder, Give a Seder, Need a Seder, Get a Seder program.

If you are hosting a Seder and have space to invite others into your home, please let us know how many people you can host at your home.

If you are in need of a Seder, let us know how many of you are looking for a Seder.

We will match up those in need with those who can. We ask that all requests are submitted by Thursday, March 22nd ( New Extended Date) Saturday, March 24th before midnight. Notifications to those hosting and attending will be done by Monday, March 26th.

Please complete the form below, if you are interested in participating.
