1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Don Richardson is a retired Information Technology professional who has enjoyed theatre as both a performer and an audience member for nearly 50 years. The school system in his New Jersey hometown took full advantage of the fact that Broadway was only a 45-minute bus ride away, and he was able to see the original cast of “1776”, among many other shows. His “stage” home since 1995 has been Fauquier Community Theatre, where he served for 9 years as Chairman of the Board and then 4 years as Artistic Chairman. He also advocated for the arts in education while serving on the Prince William County School Board from 2001 to 2011. Not surprisingly, some of his favorite stage roles have been “political” ones: Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, FDR, Prince Richard (The Lion In Winter), and the Governor of Messina (Much Ado About Nothing). Don also had the privilege of working alongside Jason Alexander while both were in high school. This presentation was created by Dr. Harry J. Kantrovich. Harry is a retired Navy Command Master Chief who has acted and directed in both community and professional theatres for nearly 50 years.
