Summary |
For the last several weeks, we have been studying Reform Jewish values, through the responsa, formal statements, and platforms of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and through the book, A Life of Meaning: Embracing Reform Judaism's Sacred Path. This Sunday (7/26) will be our final session on this topic. If you have been reading the book along with us, the following essays are recommended as starting points for our discussion on "Dignity of the Other."
- Sacred Relationships - William Berkson, PhD
- The Centrality of Social Justice in Reform Judaism - Rabbis Jonah Dov Pesner and David N. Saperstein
- The Mission of Israel among Humanity, Rabbi Lance J Sussman, PhD
If you have time to read the whole section, that is also very encouraged, and if you don't own the book or don't get to the reading, you are still more than welcome to join us on Zoom to discuss the topic!
Rabbi's /outline/notes for the whole book can be found here.
