Young Adults

Being situated near several military bases and college campuses, we have an influx of young adults who are far from home. We welcome their presence, for a day, a season, a year or a lifetime, should they end up finding a permanent home in Prince William County.

In addition, a core group of young adults who grew up as part of the Congregation Ner Shalom community, and the friends they have connected to the community are regulars at services, at special events and activities. Young Adults serve on our Board as temple leadership, teach religious school, conduct one or more Shabbat services per year, engage in social justice actions, represent the temple at community events, and spend social hours together beside the campfire or in the community. This vibrant group of young people find a home at CNS, and we hope you will as well.
