Join us for a special screening of Dr. Harry Kantrovich's adaptation of Claude Lanzmann's Shoah. Lanzmann's Shoah was a seminal 9 hour long documentary (long before "docuseries" were popular!) to educate the American public on the true scope and horrors of the Holocaust. Ner Shalom's own Dr. Kantrovich distilled this masterpiece into a 2 hour 15 minute stage production. For those who were unable to see the world premier at the local Fauquier Community Theatre, Harry has agreed to screen a recording of one of the performances for us, free of charge, at Ner Shalom. The screening will be bookended by a brief Yom HaShoa Yizkor service and a Q&A with Harry.
